Christopher Ladwig, J.D.

Christopher J. Ladwig is currently a Community Prosecutor with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.  In 2001, Christopher graduated with honors and received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  In 2007, Christopher graduated, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and worked as a clerk for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. 


In 2008, he returned to Milwaukee for a position with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.  Christopher worked on a General Felony Unit and in 2009 transferred to the Community Prosecution Unit.  Since 2009, he has worked as Milwaukee Police District 3 Community Prosecutor and has collaborated on several proactive crime reduction initiatives involving violent crime, prostitution, property improvement, prisoner reentry, and community engagement. 


In 2012, Chris received the United States Department of Justice - Bureau of Justice Assistance’s National Community Prosecutor of the Year award for his innovative community engagement projects.  Chris is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Marquette University Law School teaching a course in Community Prosecution.            

Chad Wozniak

Chad has been a prosecutor with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office since March of 2010.  He was a member of the General Crimes Unit for over two years before being assigned to the  Community Prosecution Unit in 2012.  Chad worked shortly in District 2, the near-south-side, before joining District 6 on the far south-side of the city.  Due to the unique make up of District 6, Chad has focused on targeting violent robbery and burglary crews, while also prosecuting the property crime associated with the burgeoning heroin epidemic.        


Chad graduated in 2005 with a Degree in Secondary Education and minors in History and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse; completing his student teaching at Milwaukee Riverside High School.   Chad attended the University of Wisconsin Law School graduating in 2009.  As part of his law studies Chad was a Hayes Intern working with the Dane County District Attorney’s Office and the Madison Police Department. 

Ann Romero López

On January 19, 2009, Ann was sworn in as a Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney.  During her career she has prosecuted general misdemeanors and felonies, along with Termination of Parental Rights (T.P.R.) petitions.  In 2012, Ann was assigned to the Community Prosecution Unit on the south-side of Milwaukee.


As a bilingual Community Prosecutor who is fluent in Spanish, Ann works with many area residents of different backgrounds, various community based organizations, and law enforcement to identify hot spot areas to concentrate crime reduction and nuisance abatement resources. 

Ann graduated from Marquette University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Law Studies and Spanish Literature, with a Political Science minor.  She earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008.
